Mandy ffrench MAR, Principal of ARC Therapies Reflexology School is qualified in the use of Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Counselling (ARC). The courses offered by her School are accredited by the Association of Reflexologists.

Mandy, who has had 37yrs health care experience, worked for the National Health Service for 13 years as a diagnostic Radiographer. Her interest in Complementary Therapies developed 32 years ago having seen how effective Naturopathy was in healing the chronic skin condition of a member of her family. In addition to training reflexologists to Practitioner standard, she has a lively interest in all aspects of Complementary Medicine including Iridology, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbalism. She also teaches An Introduction to Reflexology, Basic Counselling Skills including Creative Listening and Conflict Resolution for Bromley Adult Education College.

Of Reflexology, she says: Reflex areas on the feet and hands 'reflect' disturbances in related areas of the body. Treatment consists of thumb and finger pressure massage, effectively relaxing and rebalancing body systems, thereby aiding the potential to heal. Reflexology:-

I use my belief in the healing power of the mind and body to encourage an understanding of aspects of health and healing, which will benefit the individual and society.

Mandy brings to all her healing arts a spiritual dimension engendered through her espousal of the Bahá'í Faith. This not only gives her a strong desire to alleviate suffering through her skills but also enables her to call on the power of prayer when so doing.

The outer, physical causal factor in disease...is the disturbance in the balance, the proportionate equilibrium of all those elements of which the human body is composed. [Bahá'í Writings]
